"The Academy" is dedicated to the work of the philantropist and public figure Dimitar Tsenov, who established the Academy of Economics in Svishtov. Tsenov's donation of 5 million golden leva for the Academy was the second largest in Bulgaria after that Evlogi Georgiev. The film relates the life and successful carreer of D. Tsenov, the history of his exceptional gift, and the establishment of the Academy and its contribution of experts in all economic spheres.
