In August 1987 the opera "Tsar Kaloyan" by Pancho Vladigerov was presented in the natural sets of the medieval capital Turnovo. This super production was realized due to the efforts of a specially formed enormous team and gave a good occasion for exploring the contemporary dimensions of history.
