A film is an anthology of reminiscences; useful advice, interpretations and anticipations such as they were recorded by the Teteven wood-carvers and icon-painters in the church chronicles, their guidebooks and family bibles. The iconostases created by these men in different parts of Bulgaria contain the whole Christian philosophy and form the moral of the Bulgarian of that time.
