Izboryt na Veneta (2001)

The film witnesses the participation of Granny Vita and her granddaughter Veneta in four of the folk festivals in Koprivshtitza in the period 1986 -2000. One of the film narratives follows the chronology of the documentary observation and evolution in Veneta and her Granny Vita's way of thinking. Pictures by Bulgarian painter Vladimir Dimitrov - The Master are used as an art evidence of the young days of the old woman and at the same time as a documentary evidence of the future, i.e., the present days of Veneta. Thus the everlasting art in the capacity of a filmed document brings together both a bygone and present youth.
