March 1943. The Germans announced that they had found the corpses of thousands Polish officers near the village of Katyn in 1940. The Nazis created an international commission made up of experts in forensic medicine. Bulgaria was represented by the pathoanatomist, Marko Markov. In September of 1944 Dr. Markov was arrested and faces People court . This is the story of an ordinary man, who found himself between the millstones of history.
