The film opens with an everyday portrait of a paramedic team—Krasi, Mila, and Plamen—operating within Sofia’s drastically dwindling fleet of ambulances. Set against a backdrop of crumbling infrastructure and physical exhaustion, their shift quickly escalates into a series of absurd situations. The directorial approach strictly shuns sensationalism, keeping patients discreetly out of the frame. Instead, the entire focus centers on the faces of the three paramedics and their internal mental state, marked by their constant battle against a lack of resources, systemic failure, and bureaucracy.
