Tishina

A 33-year-old sculptor lives in a caravan in a marble-quarry situated high in the mountains. He lives there in solitude and silence. The beginning and the end of his first one-man show is a scandal. The sycophants fawning on the authorities are all in a hurry "To sentence to death" in the press the unusual talent who dares to oppose the prescribed tenets and rules. Everything is against Mincho Kolev. The threads that hold him to life begin to break one by one; after the pogrom of his exhibition he is abandoned by his beloved and his friends.The ill-fated exhibition is closed immediately after the attacks in the press. By a concurrence of circumstances the items end up at an enterprise for processing scrap. Tracing his sculptures, to which he has devoted all his life, Mincho Kolev goes to the scrap processing enterprise, though he has little hope he will be able to rescue some of the pieces. Soon after, he is forced into leaving his last small shelter - the caravan in the mountains. He is deprived of his last support in this world as if by a powerful invisible hand. The marble-quarry is to be detonated once again.
