He graduated VGIK (State Institute of Cinematography) in Moscow, Russia in 1969. Then specialized in Film Directing on higher courses in Moscow. One of the most important screenwriters in Bulgaria, he also directed some documentaries. He is author of the theater plays, which were performed with a great success in Bulgaria, Germany.
