Docho Bodjakov was born on September 19, 1956 in Borima, Lovech, Bulgaria. Graduated film direction in the class of the great Bulgarian filmmaker Vulo Radev at NAFTA (National Academy of Film ant Theatre Art), Sofia, Bulgaria (1981). He is the director of documentaries, TV shows, theater stagings. Since 2002 he is teaching Film Directing at NAFTA, Sofia, Bulgaria.
