He is a graduate of the High Institute of Mathematics, Electronics and Engineering (1971) and of Film-directing programme at the NAFTA (National Academy of Film and Theater Art) in Sofia, Bulgaria (1979). He works as assistant director and film director on Boyana Film [bg}, then - on Bulgarian National TV as a screenwriter and a director.
