Mihail Pandurski was born on July 29, 1955 in Sofia, Bulgaria. He worked for Bulgarian National Television (BNT [bg]) for 5 years and in 1979 he began to study Film Directing at NAFTA (National Academy of Film and Theater Art)in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Since 1989 Pandurski has been living in Stuttgart, Germany, where he shot several documentaries with and about the Stuttgart ballet under the leadership of Maria Haydee.
