Stefan Canev

Stefan Canev was born on August 7th, 1936 in the village of Chervena voda, near Ruse. He is a contemporary author in Bulgaria known for his essays, plays and poems, as well as historical novels. Among his books are Ubiicite sa mejdu nas (The killers are among us). His plays include Istinskiqt Ivailo (The true Ivajlo), which was banned.
