Tatqna Jelqzkova Lolova was born on February, 2nd 1934 in Sofia. Tatqna Lolova has graduated from the Theatre and Film-Making University (in the acting class of Prof. Stefan Surchadzhiev). She was among the founders of the State Comedy Theatre in Sofia (1956). She acted in the Drama Theatre in the town of Rousse, in Sofia Theatre, and on the stages of many other theatres throughout Bulgaria. One of the most charming Bulgarian comedy actresses, she has worked with the best Bulgarian directors and has created dozens of unforgettable characters in the theatre and the cinema, in TV performances, TV serials, comedy sketches. She has always indulged in audience great love and admiration, and has received numerous acting awards, among which the ASKEER Theatrical Award for her character of Winnie in Samuel Becket's "Happy Days" (1992), staged by the famous director Grisha Ostrovsky.
