Georgi Diulgerov was born on September 30, 1943 in Burgas, Bulgaria. He graduated the VGIK Film School in Moscow in 1970. He is a full-time professor in Film and TV Directing at the Academy for Dramatic and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, and a voting member of the European Film Academy.
